Returnee Lessons:
Returnees' English ability depends on a variety of factors: For example, personality; are they gregarious or shy? Did they attend an English speaking school? How long did they spend abroad? Did they live in an English speaking country? How old is the student, and crucially did they learn to read?
We always do a level check to determine which of our returnee classes is most suitable to join. We have many returnee lessons. There will be at least one that suits

Students who have never lived abroad CAN become bi-lingual, but they need to put in a lot of effort.
At Dave and Amy English School, we teach students that have never left Japan, but are able to join our returnee lessons (with children who have lived abroad for 3 or more years). Let’s go through what is necessary.

How can Returnees retain English at a high level? and How can students who have never lived abroad become bi-lingual?
At Dave and Amy English School, we have taught a lot of returnees. We try to help returnees keep their fluency, comprehension, reading and writing abilities at a high level, and improve them. But it takes hard work. How do we do this effectively?

海外経験がなくてもハイレベルの英語力を身につけ、3年以上海外で生活した帰国子女たちと同じクラスになれる生徒もいます。
今からハイレベルの英語力を身につけるために必要なことをあげていきます。
長年の経験から、すらすらと上手に読める帰国子女の生徒はその英語力を保っているといえます。
幼くして帰国した生徒でも同様のことがいえます。実際5歳でアメリカから帰国し、英語の本を読む努力を続けている中学生の生徒は、現在とてもハイレベルな英語力を身につけています
