How we use My English Book and Me: Elementary 2 in our classrooms
Cover:
◦ Children should cover the right side of the page and do the activity on the left.
◦ And then cover the left side of the page, LOOK ONLY AT THE PICTURE, and write the word. No cheating. No looking. Testing themselves.
• Re-do if not done well the first // second times.
• Children should speak out loud as they write.
• Children on MEB4 can read:
◦ They should be able to do all activities by themselves.
For our Japanese Students:
● かくしてやります。
○ 生徒さんはページの右側を隠して、左側の問題をやります。
○ それからページの左側を隠します。絵だけを見て単語を書きます。ごまかしてやってはいけません。答えを見てはいけません。自分の力でやります。
● 一回目、二回目でよくできなければ、もう一度やってみます。
● 生徒さんは大きな声に出しながら書きます。
● MEB4の生徒さんは読むことができます。
○ 生徒さんはすべての問題を自分の力でやるようにします。
